Most black media professionals know Demetria Lucas and have known her for some time, long before she appeared on Bravo’s “Blood, Sweat and Heels.” Her work is everywhere. The trajectory of her career is inspiring and I like to keep up with what she’s doing. So naturally, I follow her on Instagram.
Occasionally, I’ll read something that makes me rush over to A Belle In Brooklyn to to get the full story. And today she got me again. She posted a picture of a line of urinals and under it, the very first sentence read, “You’ve never held his d*ck while he pees?”
My first reaction can only be described as “Whaaaaaat??” I turned to my laptop and typed in the first four letters of her URL before the page popped up. (I wish Instagram would start enabling links.) Anyway, in the post, Demetria details a conversation she had with two people whom she identified as “straight woman” and “gay man.”
You’ll have to read the whole thing to find out how they even got on this topic but “straight woman” argued that she likes the idea of feeling like she has a penis and “gay man” said, repeatedly, that it’s very sexay.
Well, alright.
I’m admittedly more inexperienced than a little bit but I’ve heard some thangs and this, while not full on freaky, is a little odd, right?
I mean I understand penis envy. Having a schlong always seemed like such a liability to me, but I can understand the thrill of being able to actually hold your genitalia in the palm of your hand. You know what they say, you always want what you don’t have.
I get it.
But at the end of the day, I’m not all too fond of my own urine. I generally regard peeing as an inconvenient necessity. And we all know the splash factor with the menfolk is very real. Depending on my amateur aiming skills and my stance and position while holding, it wouldn’t be too hard for some of his urine to hit me. And, while some folks are into that, urine splashing on me would be the furthest thing from a turn on. I would be pissed. ( I had to do it.)
But that’s just me.
I’m posing this question because I’m really wondering how common this actually is, is it standard to hold a dude’s junk while he’s peeing?
